Well, a new season trailer for Keeping Up With the Kardashians came out, featuring a bunch of clips where the Kardashian-Jenner sisters argue with one another to the dismay of their mother Kris Jenner. A lot of insults are lobbed, particularly between Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. But the trailer’s craziest moment was Kourtney plainly saying she’d be fine with KUWTK ending. Of course the show isn’t now, and there’s been no announcement Kourtney is no longer going to be on it.
But Khloé asked her, “you would be happy if the show ended?”
And Kourtney immediately replied, “Yeah, who cares?” in front of the show’s camera and crew.
Other jarring moments from the trailer include Kim outright saying, “We’re firing Kourtney. She’s out,” and Kourtney calling Kim “the biggest f*cking evil person on the planet.” Yes, it’s an overwhelming amount of messy sibling drama, packed into a one-minute teaser.
This isn’t the first time Kourtney has expressed interest in quitting the family’s reality show. In September, she told The Real that she thought about leaving KUWTK before. “Every day is different,” she told the hosts. She confirmed that “yeah,” the option has been considered. “[But] at the current moment I’m happy and very into my blessings and feeling very good,” Kourtney continued. “But I definitely have my moments where, ‘cause I mean, life is short.”
Keeping Up With the Kardashians shoots episodes months before they air. Given this, the clip of Kourtney saying she wouldn’t care if the family’s show ended was likely filmed long before she went on The Real and said she’s happy on the show for now. So there’s a spoiler on how that worked out.
