Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are taking steps to insure Royal baby Archie knows his roots!
Ever since the couple welcomed their son to the world on May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made it clear they’re ditching traditional protocol and following their own rules when it comes to parenting.
For Meg and Harry, this means introducing their bundle of joy to American culture firsthand.

Per the latest from Us Weekly, a source close to the new parents insists that new momma Meghan will continue to have a direct say in her son’s upbringing, despite any royal precedents that may exist:
“Meghan likes to do things her way. She’s a very strong woman who wants to use her role to modernize the monarchy, which is one of the reasons she and Harry decided to reject a title for Archie. [She and Prince Harry] want their son to lead a normal life.”
The insider continued that the former Suits star is absolutely not one to forget where she came from, adding:
“For Meghan, it’s just as important for Archie to learn about her family history as it is for him to learn about his royal ancestors, so she plans to go on a trip to L.A. with him once she’s comfortable taking him on a plane.”
Ahh! Baby Archie is coming to El Lay?! How exciting!
While we’re certainly excited to hear plans for the little one to make his way across the pond, we can assume it’ll be some time before the family of three makes the trip!
We know security will be tight too, as the royal couple has been busy with securing the safety of their own home back in the UK.
On Wednesday, Prince Harry accepted damages and an apology from Splash News. Multiple reports confirm the outlet’s photographers took several aerial shots of his and Miz Markle’s $3 million, four-bedroom country home in Cotswold Hills, England back in January.
A lawyer speaking on Harry’s behalf in court said the published shots—which included a direct look into their bedroom, living room and dining area—”seriously undermined” the family’s “safety and security.” So much so, that the new parents reportedly no longer live at the rented estate.
The attorney explained:
“The property had been chosen by the Duke for himself and his wife given the high level of privacy it afforded. Given its position in a secluded area surrounded by private farmland away from any areas to which photographers have access.”
Ugh, how annoying! But sadly, not surprising at all considering the international hype surrounding the newest baby royal.
Luckily, the outlet confirmed with their apology that they’ll no longer use the same aerial tactics to take photographs or record footage of the Sussex family home.
